9th Grade

Make a four year acedemic plan on which classes you hope to take and need to take for graduation between now and your senior year. Make an appointment with your counselor to discuss options.
Get invovled! Join at least one club/organization.
Develop and maintain good study habits. Grades from Freshman year forward affect your overall high school gpa.
Begin a folder or spreadsheet of your accomplishments, awards, extra curricular/ volunteer activities and leadership positions. This will be helpful for filling out job, college, and scholarship applications in the future.
Volunteer in your community.
Begin thinking about career fields of interest through on-line research or other events
