This is a timeline, starting Freshman year and ending in October of senior year. Of course, all of high school counts when it comes to college applications, so your prep should begin in August of freshman year and not end until June of senior year. For your freshman, sophomore, and junior year, activities and grades really matter. When it comes to the end of junior year and beginning of senior year, it is time to show off all you've done to colleges.
